Reginald (Reggie) McKarcher, 64, 504 State St., Pullman, died Saturday at a Spokane hospital.

A native of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, he lived in Pullman for 45 years. He attended Pullman High School and Washington State University. He owned and operated the R.A. McKarcher Chevron Service in Pullman for 45 years.

Mr. McKarcher was a 41-year member of the Elks Lodge 249 and was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Pullman. He was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity at WSU and the Athletic Round Table, Spokane.

He is survived by his wife, Lydia McKarcher, Pullman; a daughter, Mrs. Keith (Betty) Lincoln, wife of the former WSU and San Diego Chargers half-back; a son, Skip McKarcher, Pullman; and two grandchildren, Kip and Lance McKarcher, both of Pullman.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Episcopal Church, Pullman. Burial will be at Pullman Cemetery.
