Anton 'Tony' was born in the Donauschwaben village of Parabutsch, Batschka, Austria-Hungary/Yugoslavia (now Serbia) to Jacob Buchler 'Pichler' and Katharina Eggi.

He came to the U.S. January 23, 1950, on the ship Sobieski, destination his Aunt and Uncle Buchler/Klein in Trenton, NJ.

He no sooner arrived when he was drafted into the Army in 1951, stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia, then served in Germany.

He married Eva Stiller, May 17, 1953.

They had two children, Eileen (Sachetti-Wood) and Anthony 'Tony' Joseph.

He was a self-employed building contractor and a life member of German American Society
