Mrs. Stringer passed away on Monday, September 12, 2011, in Rogersville, AL. She was born on October 26, 1914, to James Hamilton and Nancy Rogers Goodman.
Mrs. Stringer was a homemaker and was an East Texas native but resided for the past 17 years in Rogersville, Alabama.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Nanette Stringer of Rogersville, AL; two grandchildren, Cynthia Brewer and Ronald Stringer; four great grandchildren.
Mrs. Stringer was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert W. Stringer and her son, Norbert Ronald Stringer.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 14, from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
