Mary came to Canada from Limerick, Ireland in the late 1840's spent 9 weeks and 3 days in a sailing vessel. Mary married after being in Canada about 2 years (according to written information from her daughter, Frances Patchet.) So she must have come to Canada late 1840's. Interestingly, both Mary's spouses pre-deceased her and both died on May 22nd. (According to 1901 census Mary arrived in Canada in 1851)
