Jack lived in Roswell, NM for 30 years, he was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Marvin Wells.
Jack is survived by a special-special friend, Mildred McDonald of Capitan, NM; three sons, Johnny Bascom Wells, and his wife Norma of Albuquerque, NM, Jack Randall Wells and his wife Julie of Edgewood, NM, Rex Wells and his wife Marjorie of Rio Rancho, NM, Bill Wells and his wife Carolyn of Claunch, NM; three sisters, Nora Mae Austin of Estancia, NM, Dora Ellen Hubbard of San Antonio, NM, Lora Ann Morris of Andrews, TX; five Grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Services are scheduled for Sunday, May 27, 2001 at 1:30 pm at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM. Burial will be immediately following the service at the White Lakes Cemetery in Gran Quivira. Officiating the service will be Jacks brothers, Vernie and Ray Wells. Pallbearers are Marlin Austin, J.E. Wells, Jeff Wells, Ken Wells, Wendell Wells, Wes Wells, honorary pallbearers are Chester Riley, L.C. Stiles and Ernest Wright.
Services have been trusted to the care of Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair.
