Mary Hull Kaminer Middlebrook, 86, resident of National Health Care, Mauldin, died Tuesday at a local hospital.
Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Earl Manning Kaminer and Mary Lyons Hull Kaminer. She was married for 47 years to Stephen Allen Middlebrook until his death in 1989. She was preceded in death by a sister, Frank Gualdo Kaminer.
She attended college in Washington, D.C. and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Journalism. A communicant of Christ Church Episcopal, she was a member of Colonial Dames, a sustaining member of the Junior League, past President of the Alter Guild at Christ Church, member of the Quadrille, Monday Book Club and the Tuesday Study Club.
Surviving are her son, Stephen Allen Middlebrook, Jr. of Dallas, TX, and a daughter Mary Hull Middlebrook of Sherman Oaks, CA. A memorial service will be conducted in Markley Chapel at Christ Church episcopal by the Reverend Robert Dannals on Friday, November 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m.
