Muaiao Tuiletufuga, a devoted husband, loving father, caring brother and loyal friend left this mortal existence to enter into the presence of our Heavenly Father on August 24th, 2011. Muaiao was 48 years old when he passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Utah Valley Hospital.

He was born September 11th, 1962 in Apia, Western Samoa to Togia Tuiletufuga and Vaitoelau Fuimaono Papali'i. Muaiao leaves behind his wife Pursonna Lehuanani Pili -Tuiletufuga and their sons Muaiao Israel Tuiletufuga and Taylor Larsen (legal guardian). He also leaves behind ten siblings and countless relatives.

Since his early youth Muaiao was always active in sports and community activities. Muaiao spent 14 years working as a fisherman which took him to many fascinating places throughout the world. Later in his life, he changed his profession to be closer to his family. For the last years of his life Mo was employed as a certified technician in installation and repair for various communication companies. This experience provided him with many opportunities to be on special teams and projects. The epitome of his professional career was when he was selected from other professionals to work at Ground Zero during the 9/11 tragedy of 2001. His job was to help restore communication lines"an experience that he often talked about.

Mo loved being a foster parent to many troubled youth and even became a legal guardian to one of these youth. On May 10th, 1996 he became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and remained active until the very end. He served diligently in many leadership positions in the church including Sunday School President, Ward Clerk and Scout Master. He is sealed to his wife and son for time and all eternity.

Muaiao's sense of humor and enthusiasm for life was contagious. His ability to express himself artistically was varied and remarkable. His many travels around the world sparked a passion for exotic and exquisite cuisine. As a result, he developed a reputation as an excellent cook. He will always be remembered as one who had great compassion toward others.

"To live in the hearts of those who are left behind is not to die". Always in our hearts and never forgotten. We love and miss you, Mo. God be with you until we meet again.
