Peter Harris died from wounds received at the battle of Perryville KY in 1862. He was the son of and William and Mary Harris of Licking Co. Ohio and husband of Roselen ORR, daughter of Peter ORR and Margaret Dustheimer, also of Licking Co, Oh. Peter Harris served as a Private in Company E of the 121st Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and lost his life at the Battle of Perryville, Kentucky. He was wounded on the day of the battle (Oct 8, 1862) and died 20 days latter in Perryville, KY [Testimony of Capt. E.
