Lois Ann Edwards, 63, formerly of Michigan, Grove City, Ohio, and Evansville, passed away in the company of her children on April 22, 2002, after an extended illness. She was born February 25, 1939, in Francisco, Ind., and graduated from Central High School in Evansville, Class of 1956. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Oval and Lucille Heironimus, and brother, Donald Heironimus. Surviving are her husband, Roger; children, Larry (Shelley) Thompson, Mike (Lisa) Thompson and Jim (Lisa) Thompson, all of Grove City, Lori (John) Raugh of Orient, Ohio, and Joe Thompson of Ypsilanti, Mich.; stepchildren, Robin, Pat, Diane and Jim; sister-in-law, Sue Manis; 16 grandchildren; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; cousins; and many dear friends. Lois was a happy person with a radiant smile, who loved life, her family, her horses and her succession of dogs named "Jake." She will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness and caring of others. The family will receive friends today from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. at Schoedinger-Norris Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio, where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m., Reverend Bob Williams officiating. Internment will be at Concord Cemetery in Grove City. Special thanks to Riverside Hospice for their care of Lois and support of the family during her illness.
