Died- On Friday evening last at the residence of her daughter Catherine Thompson, in Wagner township, occurred the death of Mrs. Jane Patterson, one of the pioneer residents of this county.
Mrs. P. Was a native of Ohio, where she was married to John Patterson, Sr. In 1850 they came to Clayton County and settled in Wagner Township which place has been her home since.
Her husband died some years ago, but her seven sons, William, John, Aaron, Wesley, Joseph, Samuel and Ezra Patterson, and her three daughters Mrs. Atwood, Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Keyes survive her.
Deceased was about 84 years of age. The funeral took place on Sunday last and was largely attended.
