My Uncle,Hielke VAN DER GAAST,was born January 8th.1904 in LEMSTERLAND-HOLLAND.
His Parents were:Karel VAN DER GAAST and Geeske ZIJLSTRA.
When Hielke was 28 years old He married on June 29th.1932, my Aunt Cato ORIE,born May 16th.1903.
Hielke and Cato raised 4 Children:
3 Daughters: Rita-Toos and Jeannette
1 Son,named Hielke.
Hielke was Gardener, a very fine Uncle,always friendly.
My Aunt Cato died on November 4th.1968,65 years old,in LOOSDUINEN-HOLLAND.
Hielke was 87 years old when he died on September 17th.1991.
They are all buried in the Family Grave,together with their Son Hielke Jr.,who died very young,on the Roman-Catholic Cemetery "St.Jozef" in LOOSDUINEN.
Dear Auntie and Uncle Rest in Peace. You are NOT forgotten!
