Mrs. K. Blickenstaff died at the residence of her son, Enos Blickenstaff, on North John street, Saturday evening, at 5 p.m. and was buried Monday at Stockwell, Indiana. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Foster, of the Baptist church. Mrs. Blickenstaff at the time of her demise was aged 76 years and 4 months. She was born and raised in Miami county, Ohio, and came to Tippecanoe County, this State, in 1832. She has lived in this city about three years. Her husband died in 1872. Out of this union twelve children were born, five of whom are now living. Mrs. Blickenstaff had considerable property, among which was a farm in Tippecanoe County. She was a devout member of the Baptist church, and a kind, amiable, old lady. But no more will the family hearthstone be enlivened by the many stories of the pioneers of Indiana. (Frankfort Banner)
