Obituary, Marcellus Weekly Observer, 3 May 1912:

"Mrs. Elizabeth Kenyon died at her home in Camillus, Apr 17, 1910. She was born in the town of Onondaga, September 11, 1819, the second child of Nathan Coville and Carah (or Sarah) Case. January 6, 1836, she was united in marriage with William N. Ashby, whose death occurred Dec. 22, 1945. Three children were born to them, two of whom are living, William Ashby of Marcellus, and Hannah Lawrence of Camillus, who lived with and cared for her mother, and Mrs. Wheeler Evans, who died 17 years ago. Jan. 2 1850, deceased married Joseph Kenyon, whose death 20 years ago, again left her a widow. They had one child, Theresa, who died in 1896.

Besides her two children, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Dewitt Spaulding, and one brother, Palmer Coville, both in Michigan; by 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She had from a child been a member of the M.E. church, from which her funeral was held April 20, the Rev. B. Cook, Marcellus, officiated."
