Name was mis-spelled over the years as: Loruana (1850 & 1870 Census), Loruanah (1860 Census), Ruma (1880 Census). She is buried in Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley. No dates on stone. Death date unknown.

Lorhuana was married to John Dunlap, and had 2 children: Lydia A. Dunlap (b. 1832), and Ardell F. White (b. 1844; adopted son, and actually the nephew of John Dunlap via his sister, Hannah, who died young at age 35 when Ardell was 6). Ardell was killed in action during the Battle of Cold Harbor in the Civil War at age 20.
