Aladdin Olivas, 70, passed away in a local hospital Monday, February 20, 1933.
He was a native of Santa Cruz, California, and had lived in Santa Maria for the past 15 years. Surviving relatives are his daughter, Mrs. Dora Villa of Santa Maria, two step-daughters, Josie Perez, Santa Maria, and Mary Biscarro, San Miguel; one brother, Nesario Olivera [Nasario Olivas] of Gonzales, and four grandchildren, Mrs. Viola Miranda, Vivian and Betty Lou Villa, all of Santa Maria, and Mrs. Hazel Azevedo, Santa Clara.
Rosary will be said tomorrow night, February 22, 1933, at 8 o'clock in the chapel of the Scott B. Pyle Funeral home. Mass will be said at 9 o'clock Thursday morning, February 23, 1933, from St. Mary's Catholic church with Father A. J. Hurley officiating. Internment will be in the local cemetery.
