William "Pap" Rogers, 88, of 2727 Hood Street, Columbus, GA died January 5, 2011 at Azalea Trace Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM EST Monday, January 10, 2011 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Walter Phillips officiating and Rev. Albert Suggs, Eulogist. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Pittsview, AL. Visitation is today from 1 - 8 PM according to Taylor Funeral Home.
Mr. Rogers was born November 27, 1922 in Pittsview, AL to the late Bertha Upshaw Rogers and the late Dave Rogers. He was a member of Parkwood Full Gospel Baptist Church.
Survivors include a niece, Bertha Mosley; a nephew-in-law, Charlie Hale; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, young and old, as well as friends.
