She never said anything about having a middle name but in one of the census there is a middle name given. It is hard to read but it could be Jane or Jones. None of her children had middle names but it seems two of her sons liked the name George and added that as their middle names.

Matrimonial Matters
George Delph and Miss Nettie Walls drove up from Casey yesterday and were married by Judge Davison. They were accompanied by Milford Delph and Miss Maggie Walls.

MRS. VERNETTA DELK DIES IN CINCINNATI
Mrs. Vernetta Delk, age 86, died at General Hospital in Cincinnati Dec. 29 following a month of serious illness.
She was born April 5, 1878 in Lincoln County. She was a member of the Church of God and the widow of Mr. George Delk, who preceded her in death in July 1950. She has been living in Ohio for the past 20 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Florence Tinsley, four sons, Herman Delk, Blanchester, Ohio; Ernest Delk, Cincinnati; Zora Delk, Somerset; Virgil Delk, Waynesburg; 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and a great great grandson.
Services were conducted at the Allison-Rose Funeral Home, Covington, by the Rev. Bob Cross Jan. 2. Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Highland Heights.
