Mrs. Catherine(Catalda)Cumbo who was born in San Cataldo, Sicily, died in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. Was the daughter of the late Arcangelo and Grace (Martorana) Randazzo. She lived in Pittston for over 80 years. Before retiring, Mrs. Cumbo was employed as a garment worker and was a member of St. Rocco's Church, Pittston.
She was predeceased by her husband, Cologero Cumbo, on August 8, 1951 (whom she married on February 16, 1916); sons, Sam and Angelo and brother Benny Randazzo.
Surviving are a son, Joseph Cumbo and his wife, Ruth; daughter, Jennie Cumbo DeBella; brother, Anthony "Brownie" Randazzo; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
