Miss Ollie Trabue, whose sickness we mentioned last week, had a second stroke of paralysis last Friday evening and died early Saturday morning, aged 46 years and 6 months. Miss Trabue was one of the early and most highly respected citizens of this city. She came here, with her parents from Carlinville, Illinois, in 1879. Long after her brothers and sisters had left the home roof, she remained, the prop and comfort of her parents in their declining years. All hearts go out to them in their deep affliction. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.H. Mize, of Larned [Kansas], from the Congregational church on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. A large number of friends gathered to pay the last tribute to one whose worth they esteemed so highly. Her brother, Luther, of Gerard, Illinois, and Aaron of Portland, Oregon, were here to attend the funeral.
