Death of Mr. Trabue

Fenelon Trabue was born in Logan county, Kentucky, Feb. 18, 1818. With his parents, he moved to Macoupin county, Ill., when he was 17 years old.

He was converted and joined the church while in college at Alton, Ill., and has been a member of the Baptist church for 59 years, being an active worker until old age prevented his activities.

On [9] April, 1844, he was married to Miss Martha W. Merriweather, in Green[e] county, Ill. His faithful wife survives him. Nine children were born to them. One daughter, Mrs. McCanse, and three sons are still living.

Mr. Trabue came to Kinsley in 1879 where he has lived a quiet life until death removed him on Friday Dec. 16. The funeral was conducted at his late residence by Rev. A.W. Cummings, last Monday morning.

A good man and loving father and faithful husband has been taken away.

Since the death of her husband, Mrs. Trabue has gone to live with her daughter, Mrs. Robt. McCanse.
