A native of Buncombe County, she was a member of Alexander Baptist Church. Frances was a daughter of the late Woodard and Zelma Clark Fox and wife of the late Chester Greene.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Pat Greene, sisters, Hattie and Ed Redman and Faye Hawkins, brothers, Fred Fox, Rex and Doris Fox and Rev. Bobby and Wanda Fox, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
