Mrs. Lucille Clanton, 73, of Stillwell Towers, died Thursday after a short illness. The Bryan County native was a member of Pembroke United Methodist Church and was a retired waitress.
Surviving, all of Pembroke, are a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Noble; a brother, Alton B. Clanton Sr.; a sister, Mrs. Loraine Warren; and two grandchildren.
Funeral: 3 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home, burial in North Side Cemetery in Pembroke.
