Arnold Polfus, 72, 1415 Siesta Lane, Zapata, Texas, died Saturday at Mercy Hospital, Laredo, Texas.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Kerley & Starks Funeral Home, St. Joseph, where friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday. Burial be in North Shore Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to Michigan Lung Association.
Mr. Polfus was born Aug. 21, 1917 in Dowagiac. He retired in 1975 from Advance Products where he was a tool & die maker. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans of Zapata, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; five brothers, William of Mercedes, Texas, Bert of Alamo, Texas, Harold of Houston, Texas, Leonard of St. Joseph, and Robert of Benton Harbor; and two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Eleanor) Burnoski of Stevensville and Mrs. Evelyn LaVanway of Benton Harbor.
