THE DEATH OF WILLIAM SHOEMAKER
The death of William Shoemaker occurred Saturday afternoon at the home of his brother, four miles southwest of Dayton. He was a victim of consumption. Mr. Shoemaker was born in this country August 26, 1868, and his entire life spent in this county. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and was a men of splendid character. A widow, three sisters and two brothers survive. The funeral was held from the residence of his brother this afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. George Trinkle officiated, with interment in the Monroe cemetery.
