THE DEATH OF MARTHA SHOEMAKER
Miss Martha Shoemaker passed away last evening at 4:30 o'clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. Samuel Lucas, in Monroe. She was a victim of tuberculosis. Miss Shoemaker was 72 years old and her entire life was spent in this county. She was a member of the United Brethren church and was a woman of noble character, loved and respected by all who knew her. The funeral will be conducted from the Monroe U. B. church tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. George H. Trinkle will officiate and the interment will be made in the Monroe cemetery.
