THE DEATH OF IDA BEAL
Stockwell Sept 5.- Mrs. Ida Beal, 74, widow of Harvey J. Beal, of Stockwell, and for 14 years a teacher in Morton school, West Lafayette, died at 4 o'clock this morning at St. Elizabeth hospital, Lafayette, after an illness of four months. She was a school teacher for 39 years. Born at Monroe, April 22, 1862, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Williams. Her marriage took place Jan 4, 1927. She was a trustee of the M.E. church and a member of the Friday Afternoon club. Surviving are a brother, William Williams of Stockwell, four half-sisters, Mrs. Velma Cann and Mrs. Bertha Friend, of Stockwell and Mrs. Anna Eberhart, Indianapolis and a half-brother, Harvey O. Williams of Dayton. The body was removed to the Dickerson funeral home here. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Methodist church. Rev. C. V. Roush pastor, officiating assisted by Rev. H. W. Stern, of Dayton. Interment in Monroe cemetery.
