KERNERSVILLE – Mrs. Rebecca Morris Lovern, 86, resident of Round Hill Circle died April 7, at her residence following declining health.

Mrs. Lovern was born Feb. 2, 1925 in Princeton, WV, a daughter to the late Alex and Rebecca Hall Morris. A homemaker, she had been a resident of Kernersville and the surrounding vicinity most of her life. On Sept 4, 1943 she married to Charles Henry Lovern who preceded her in death.

Surviving are 6 daughters; Mrs. Jewel Ford and husband Doug of Kernersville, Mrs. Barbara Goins and husband Wayne of Walnut Cove; Brenda Lockhart of High Point, Lois Jeffery of Thomasville; Linda Delkard of Kernersville , and Pamala Parrish and husband Bob both of Kernersville; 1 son; Billy Lovern of Winston Salem; 18 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren; 1 loving niece; Sissy Thomas and Husband Bill of Biloxi, MS and an adopted daughter Sandy Sigmon of Archdale.

Mrs. Lovern was preceded in death by a son Frankie Lee Lovern.

Funeral Services with a live webcast will be conducted Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service on Eastchester Dr. by Jeanette Robinson, Chaplain with Hospice of the Piedmont. Interment will follow in the Floral Garden Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home Sunday.
