Tribute Paid Mrs. Winifred Coxe
A noteworthy tribute was paid the memory of Mrs. Winifred Coxe, when a large delegation of friends and relatives braved the unfavorable weather conditions this morning and attended the funeral, held from the home of her parents on Slope Street, Browntown. The death of Mrs. Coxe while yet in the prime of life, was an unexpected blow to her husband and family members, and much sorrow was manifested at the burial. A silent token of the esteem in which she was held was shown in the many and beautiful floral pieces that were sent to the home. The funeral cortege moved to Saint John's Church, where the Rev. H. J. Ruddy sung a requiem mass. Interment was in Saint John's Cemetery. The casket bearers were: John Bilbow, John McGarry, Michael McGarry, William Moran, William Gerrity and Thomas Connors.
