Former Crown Point Woman Taken by Death
Crown Point Friends of Miss Jessie Crawford, who made her home in this city for several years, were grieved to hear of her death which occurred at the home of her brother Andres Crawford, in Hebron, on Sunday.
Following an operation sometime ago, Miss Crawford spent a few weeks in the home of her niece, Mrs. A.B. Frame here. Several weeks ago she went to Hebron to be cared for in the home of her sister, Mrs. James Thatcher and brother Andres Crawford. Miss Crawford was 52 years old. She was a practical nurse and assisted in the care of the sick in many Crown Point Homes.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Hebron on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. T.H. Atkins of this city, officiating. (submitted by Tina Shallberg)
