Judy Powell Crowley, 63, of Adel, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at her Adel residence after a long illness.
Born Aug. 23, 1947, in Hahira, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur C. Powell and the late Estell Carter Powell Wheeler. She lived most of her life in Adel.
She attended Forest Hill Freewill Baptist Church where she served as clerk and treasurer for more than 25 years. She worked at Day's Studio and Rowan Drugs and was a homemaker.
Survivors are her husband of 33 years, Billy Crowley, Adel; stepsons, Randy and Gloria Crowley, Douglas, Scotty and Kayla Crowley, Archer City, Texas; grandchildren, Steven, Alex and Brittany Crowley, Sparks, Katie Crowley, San Antonio, Texas, Toby Crowley, Archer City, Texas; stepsister and brother-in-law, Susan and Winslow Harris, Nashville, sister-in-law, Linda Wills, Brush Creek, Tenn., sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sue and Elton Singletary, Adel; two nieces, Shanna and Wade Bennett, Brush Creek, Tenn., Amber Singletary, Tifton; two nephews, Trey Wills and Charlie Wills, Brush Creek, Tenn.; very special friend, Franna Taylor, Adel.
