She was born in Pike County, Ky.,and resided in Big Stone Gap,Va.,for most of her life.
She was a member of East Stone Gap Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Elisha and Nancy(Tackett) McPeek.
Surviving are her husband, Paul E. Blackburn; two daughters, Mrs. James (Joyce) Watkins, Bristol, Tenn., and Mrs. Terry (Nell) Dumas, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., five grandchildren, Ronnie Watkins, Bristol, Tenn., Jimmy Watkins, Hinesville, Ga., Linda Coyne, Castaic, Calif., Monica Yeaton, Searsport, Maine, and Cathy Hernandez, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; three great- grandsons; three great-granddaughters; one great-great grandson; one sister, Edith Proctor, Emma Ky.;several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Glencoe Cemetery.
