COLORADO CITY -- Beatrice Sears, of Groesbeck, formerly of Colorado City, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 9, in the Colorado City Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Manning officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
She was born Nov. 7, 1913 in Mitchell County. She married Tom Sears in Colorado City. He died May 20, 1960.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Shackelford of Groesbeck; two sons, Darrell Smith of Kingsland and Bobby J. Smith of Groesbeck; one brother, Claude Bearden; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
