William F. Houlihan III, age 66 years, of Wareham and Middleboro, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at Tobey Hospital, Wareham. He was the husband of Joyce B. (Conroy) Houlihan. Born in Middleboro, April 28, 1944, he was the son the late William F. Houlihan Jr. and Cecelia M. (Morris) Houlihan. He was a graduate of Middleboro High School, Class of 1962. He was the owner of Wilmots Decorating Center, Middleboro. He was a member of the Atlantic Country Club, Plymouth. His greatest joy was golfing, having just returned from a golfing trip in Aruba. Survivors include his wife Joyce, a son, Scott P. and his wife Cynthia Houlihan of South Plymouth; two daughters, Christine and her husband Peter Conlon of Lakeville, Michelle L. Houlihan of Quincy; three stepsons, James Hillcoat of Hudson, Michael Hillcoat, Glen Hillcoat, both of Halifax; a stepdaughter, Dawn Miller of Brockton; a brother, Robert and his wife Cathy Houlihan of Sandwich; two sisters, Bettyjane and her husband Charles Renfrew of Middleboro, Judy and her husband Stanley Danielczyk of Middleboro; 14 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Feb. 15, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place in St. Marys Cemetery, Middleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the American Heart Association , 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, which would be appreciated.
