Bio

I am from Middleboro,Massachusetts and Bonita Springs,Florida. I have been doing my Geneolgy for over 20 years.

I am a member of New England Historic Genealogical Society(NEHGS). I am also an Arbitrator/Indexer for FamilySearch.org

I believe that everyone should be remembered, not only in the heart. If I can take a photo of a stone so that a person can see where their Loved One is resting, why wouldn't one do that? Such a small thing. An Ancester who lived hundreds of years ago and you want to know "who" you came from, what better way. It may seem silly as we know their spirit is gone,or do we?

I for one believe, that when I go to the cemetery that they are and will always be there. The sight of a stone is almost like a picture of that person, you see the stone and can see the person in your minds eye. Sadness but, then a smile, rest in peace my loved one.

POSTERITY: I publish photos and create memorials here for the benefit of present and future generations. If you want to publish my gravestone photos on any website that you contribute to (except FindaGrave, according to FAQ#142), include in the photo caption "used with the written permission of Pam Carney Bangs (#47853426) at FindaGrave" and keep a screen-print of this page for your records. Copyright laws require you to obtain permission to use a photograph, and conditionally, you have it! Understand that merely attributing credit does not comply with the law.
