At the time of the 1880 Census of Caneyville, Grayson County, Kentucky the Joshua Woosley household consisted of: Joshua, a farmer, age 69; his second wife Lethy J., a house keeper, age 51; and their widowed daughter Elizabeth Cummings, age 22. Also living with them were Calvin Woosley, age 7; and Dinah Woosley, age 2, who were their grandchildren by the their son Arthur Woosley and Nancy Anderson.
Joshua Woosley died on March 19, 1906. He was buried in the Dan Woosley Cemetery in Ready, Kentucky where his wife Jane Siler had preceded him after her death on August 25, 1852. His wife Lethia Jane Decker joined them there after her death on April 3, 1914.
