Served in WWI as a private in the 29th Company, 7th Training Battalion, 158th Depot Brigade, Camp Sherman, OH. Also survived by son, John Friedman 3rd; brothers, Stephen & Peter Friedman; sisters, Mrs. Frances Maul & Mrs. Teresa Eisenbach (sic, Eisenman), all of Trenton.
