Gladys was the first born of Rev. Ward Worthington and Pearl Hugunin MacHenry. 23 November 1927 she married (first) George Haven; they had one child Donald Haven after which they divorced. She married second Harold Paschedag. When a young woman Gladys played a Pipe Organ for the Pantages theater during the silent movie era. She worked outside the home all her life, the last 20 years at the Frederick and Nelson downtown bakery. She was a talented artist and, upon her retirement, filled her hours with painting.
