Minnie Rangel, 84, of Longmont, died July 5, 2015 at her home. She was born December 27, 1930 in Erie, Colorado to Fred and Rita (Martinez) Gonzales. She was the wife of the late Manuel Rangel. Minnie was a proud native of Colorado.
Minnie took pride in caring for her family and kept in touch with her siblings on a daily basis. She enjoyed being outside, tending her garden and spending time with her grandchildren and her pets Blue and Blacky.
Surviving are her 3 sons Roger (Lily), William (Karen) and Isidore “Isy”, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 11 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her daughter Marie Mora.
Rosary prayers will be said at 6:00 pm on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 10, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont. Services will conclude at the Church.
