Born c.1753 to Samuel & Rachel Tuttle, Ama died in the "20th year of her age". Her brown sandstone stele has a soul effigy of the winged death's head type commonly seen from the 1600's through the mid-1700's in colonial America. The toppled gravestone which can be seen in the lower right of the topmost photo, which was taken in August 1991, also has a death's head in its tympanum, but is one of several in this burial ground which curiously lack wings.
