Mr. Ghelerter had been in ill health for about a year. He came to this county 35 years ago from Romania and engaged in various enterprises until his retirement in Jacksonville about twenty years ago.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Howard-Burds funeral home at 3 pm Sunday with Rev. B Safer of Orlando Officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be G Finkelstein, Morris Saltz, B. Schamer, David Balter and L. Schevitz.
Other survivors besides Mrs Davis include Mrs E. Silvertein and Morris Ghelerter, daughter and son, of Jacksonville, Besides brothers and sisters in this county and Europe, he is survived by two great grandchildren and 18 grandchildren.
Mr. Ghelerter was world-traveled, spoke several languages, occasionally wrote contributions for various publications through which he established a wide reputation for his wit.
