Surviving are: three daughters: Lori Harmon and husband, Ned of Newland; Danita Teague Calloway of Wilkesboro and Angela Teague Turner of Bradenton, Fl.; one son, Danard Wayne Teague and wife, Missy, of Guntown, MS.; one sister, Kathleen Pitts and husband Clarence of Blowing Rock; two brothers, Billy Alvin Teague and wife, Juanita, and Thomas Boyd Teague and wife Flowers, all of Lenoir; and 13 grandchildren and eigh great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parens, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly Ann Teague, and six brothers, Dale Auton, Fred Teague, Jr., Malcolm Teague, Coolidge Teague, Charles E. Teague and Johnny Teague.
