The funeral services were held Tuesday, June 12, at the First Reformed Church in Hull, Rev. Ter Beest officiating. Kraai Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Burial was in the Hope Cemetery of Hull.
Mr. Te Slaa was born May 28, 1898 near Sioux Center. He farmed 3 miles south of Hull for many years, before retiring to a home in Hull.
He married Irene Van Marel April 15, 1932 at Orange City. He was a faithful member of the First Reformed Church in Hull.
Preceding him in death were an infant son, La Verne Jr., 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
