KENTON COUNTY, Ky. - John Simpson, 63, of Kenton County, Ky. died Wednesday, Oct. 13 at his home.
He retired after 36 years with Turner Construction and was a member of South West Ohio Carpenters Union.
Survivors include a son, John Boy Simpson of Taylor Mill, Ky.; daughters, Jerlyn Piccirillo of Independence, Ky. and Emily Simpson of Fort Thomas, Ky.; and two grandchildren.
Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at Swindler & Currin Funeral Home in Independence. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Kenton County Animal Shelter, 1020 Mary Laidley Drive, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017; and BAWAC, Inc., 7970 Kentucky Drive, Florence, KY 41042.
