Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Reformed Church in Hull with the Rev. Verlyn Boone officiating. Burial was in Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Pollema was born May 20, 1910, in rural Hull, the daughter of Henry and Hattie (Huitink) Te Slaa.
She married Peter Pollema on April 5, 1933, in Middleburg. The couple farmed at Hull until 1952, when they moved to a farm near Inwood. They retired into Inwood In 1969 and moved into Hull in 1976. He died July 9, 1985, in Rock Valley.
She entered Valley Manor in Rock Valley in September 1996. She was a member of First Reformed Church, where she was active in women's organizations and Homemakers Club.
She enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, cross stitch and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by a son, Henry; and a brother, Gerrlt H. Te Slaa.
