Funeral Services Held for Bessie Nevins
Funeral Services were held Thursday morning at 9:30 at St. Mary's Catholic Church for Mrs. Bessie Nevins. Rev J.P. Boyle officiated. Burial was held in Rose Hill Cemetery. Rosary was said at Waterson Funeral home Wednedsay Evening.
Bessie HAGARTY Nevins was born October 1868 and passed away at Riverview Hospital in Greene Tuesday afternoon May 3, after suffering a heart attack that morning. She was 81 years old.
She was born in Coldwater Township, Butler County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hagarty, and was a seamstress for many years before her marriage.
In 1900 she was married to Dr. John Nevins, a practicing physician in Greene.
No children were born to this union.
She is survived be a brother, Lon Hagarty of Greene and a sister, Agatha, Mrs. Earl Baily of Gaithersburg, Maryland.
