Gladys Ferguson

Gladys Ferguson, 71, longtime Livingston resident, died Monday morning after a long illness at her daughter's home.
Latter Day Saints services will be held Thursday, 1 p.m., at the Franzen-Davis-Bebee Chapel. Burial will be in Park View Gardens.
She was born Dec. 26, 1909, at Kaw City, Okla., where she spent her early life and received her education. She married Ralph Dee Ferguson on Aug. 25, 1928, at Steamboat Springs, Colo. They lived in numerous locations throughout the United States until moving to Livingston in February of 1950. She was the manager of the of the Grand Hotel in Livingston for many years and had recently been manager of the Sherwood Inn for one year until retiring in 1980. Her husband preceded her in death on April 20, 1980
She was a member of Livingston L. D. S. Church.
Survivors included one son, Ralph D. Ferguson of Mantica, Calif., three daughters, Lela Van Orden and Darlene Martin, both of Livingston, and Susie Walters of Prince of Wales Island, Alaska; one brother, George W. Taylor of Frich, Texas; two sisters, May McChesney of Winfield, Kansas and Florence Cates of Hot Springs, Ark.; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
