Born on December 11, 1925, in Pelion, SC, she was the youngest child of the late James Ira Berry and Fairy Genetta Kyzer.
Margaret was a graduate of Fairview High School and moved to Charleston in the 1940's where she met and married the love of her life, Jerry C. Peagler, in July, 1947. After his death in July, 1969, she married John P. "Jack" Norris in 1974, who died in November 1986.
She was a member of Ferndale Baptist Church. Margaret was a former quality inspector with American Tobacco Company in Charleston for many years and later with Claussen Bakery. She was a compassionate Caregiver for several family members over her lifetime.
Margaret adored her family and often prepared delicious meals for get-togethers, particularly the outdoor "Fish-Frys" that everyone enjoyed so much. She also adopted many pets during her life and affectionately "spoiled" each one of them.
She is survived by three children, Ruth P. Wall and husband William of Moncks Corner, Mary P. Tschaar and husband Thomas of Weatherford, TX and Michael J. Peagler of North Charleston, three grandchildren, Michael W. Wall, Lindsay R. Wall and Christopher P. Tschaar; one sister, Emily B. Brooks, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her oldest sister, Ada B. Odom.
Interment was in Carolina Memorial Park.
