Harold William Cullen, 63, of Northlake Mobile Court on Northlake Way, died of cancer this morning at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Cullen was born in Milwaukee, Wisc., Nov. 27, 1904. He came to the Puget Sound area in the 1930's and had lived in Bremerton intermittently since 1938.
He retired from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1966, completing over 30 years of work with the U.S. Government, including submarine service in the 1920's and defense work at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard in 1941-43.
Mr. Cullen is survived by his widow, Esther, to whom he was married in 1938; a son Douglas of Fairbanks, Alaska; a daughter Mrs. Robert P. (Nancy) Trask of Perry Ave. (Rte. 5, Box 196); two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Lust of Euclid, Ohio and Mrs. Josephine Silvis of Cleveland, Ohio; three brothers, Edward Cullen of Columbus, Wisc., Frank Cullen of San Luis Obispo, Calif., and William Dickinson of Milwaukee, Wisc.; and one grandson.
Requiem Mass will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Miller-Reynolds Funeral Home.
