Mrs. Davis was a native and life-long resident of Madison County. She was born September 5, 1944 to Joe and Jean (Woody) Duckett, and preceded in death by her father, Joe.
Surviving is her mother, Jean Elizabeth Woody Duckett; her loving husband of 19 years, Don Davis, who was her High School sweetheart. Each having gone their own separate ways for 30 years and later found each other in their love again; a step-daughter, Donna Davis (George) Suggs; a sister, JoAnn Duckett (Nelson) Tunstall of Oakridge, TN; 3 brothers, Joseph Michael (Karen) Duckett, of Raleigh, NC, David Henry Duckett, of Upper Spring Creek, Charles Woody (Kathy) Duckett, of Kernersville; and beloved and special friend, Judy Kirkpatrick.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 22nd at Lusk Chapel Baptist Church, with Rev. Phil Willett officiating. Burial will follow in the Woody Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening, at Madison Funeral Home.
