Beloved son of Richard Edwards and Nancy Smith Edwards. He was the husband of Lillian Eliza Ball Edwards, and they were survived by a daughter, Patricia Ann Edwards Lewis. He worked in the cotton mills his entire life. He passed away at Lenoir Memorial Hospital from complications of pancreatic cancer. He is deeply missed.
